Nikolou Winery is located in the town of Koropi in the same traditional place where Nikolou family has been producing wine since 1875. It maintains its traditional folk architecture, where stone walls and large stone arches transport our visitors to the past, certifying the family’s long and strong tradition in wine making.
Today, Nikolou Winery is the only winery in Attica that specializes in the production of sparkling wines using the traditional method "methode traditionnelle" while at the same time the winery constitutes a place of experimentations based on the Savatiano variety.
Our guests will visit the production sites and live a unique experience, including being informed about the production of sparkling wines according to the traditional method and tasting wines through selected packages.
Training events for students of oenological interest are also taking place. At the winery's tasting room, guests taste wines and are informed on wine-making issues.

WINE TOURISM PACKAGES
- Every package includes wine tasting (75 ml \ per glass) of the corresponding number of bottles accompanied by cold-hot dishes.
- Information on the label and the variety will be provided during the tasting.
- Special meals (lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options) are available upon prior request.
COLD-HOT DISHES
Bread, home-made olives, feta / gruyere with oil and oregano, traditional pie (spinach or cheese pie or meat pie or pepper pie), sausage with pita bread, salad (lettuce - cucumber - raisins – balsamico Nikolou, tomato), black chocolate and pasteli.
- There may be changes on the menu, such as grilled feta with sliced peppers instead of feta with oil and oregano slices, meatballs with tomato sauce or meatballs instead of sausage, cheese sauce or tzatziki instead of egg fish sauce / eggplant sauce.
1st PACKAGE «Standard Package»
The package includes a tasting of 5 labels:
- Botanic Base, still Retsina
- Avros, Muscat of Alexandreia, white dry wine
- Mandilaria, rose dry wine
- Agiorgitiko, red dry wine
- Traditional Sweet Wine from Savatiano, produced with the traditional method of Mesogeia
2ND PACKAGE «Premium Package»
The package includes a tasting of 5 labels:
- Botanic Sparkling Retsina (methode traditionnelle)
- Avros, Muscat of Alexandreia, λευκός ξηρός
- Mandilaria, rose dry wine
- Agiorgitiko, red dry wine
- Sweet Dream, Grenache Rouge variety, aged for 18 years in oak barrels
3rd PACKAGE «SAVATIANO PANORAMA»
«SAVATIANO PANORAMA” is a tribute to the main variety of Mesogeia, Savatiano. By choosing this package, you will be able to witness the dynamics of the variety as it includes a tasting of 6 different versions, namely:
- Botanic Sparkling Retsina (methode traditionnelle)
- Botanic Base, still Retsina
- Savatiano, typical version of Savatiano variety
- Savatiano Fine Lees, Savatiano rested for 12 months on fine lees
- Savatiano Yellow, Savatiano free of sulfites, bio cultivation
- Traditional Sweet Wine from Savatiano, produced with the traditional method of Mesogeia.
Visitable winery, certified by the Hellenic Ministry Of Tourism.
