The 150th Harvest of Nikolou Winery – 2025

The 2025 harvest is not just another milestone for our winery. It is our 150th harvest, a symbolic circle that fills us with pride and emotion, as this year we celebrate 150 years of history and tradition of our family in wine.

This year has been marked by grapes of exceptional quality, the result of dedicated care in our vineyards and the favourable weather conditions that shaped a harvest full of promise for great wines.

We began on August 20th with the organically grown Savatiano, which forms the base for our sparkling wines Botanic Sparkling and Breathe Sparkling. Next came the Malagouzia, with grapes of outstanding health and an intense aromatic character.

We then continued with the remaining Savatiano, also organically grown and at the heart of our production. After that followed the Mandilaria for our rosé, the dynamic Assyrtiko, the refined Merlot, and we concluded with two special processes:

• the sun-drying of grapes, for the Sweet Dream label.

• and the production of the Savatiano ICE, a sweet wine created from frozen (in refrigerators) grapes.

This year’s harvest, with its diversity and high quality, confirms once again that tradition can harmoniously combine with innovation.

As we complete 150 years of uninterrupted presence, we continue with the same passion and respect for our history, while at the same time looking towards the future of Greek wine.
