Attica Vineyard
The Attica Vineyard is deeply rooted in a land rich in intellect and culture.
From antiquity to the present, it remains the closest suburban vineyard to a capital city.
In this land, the native white grape variety, Savatiano, meets the world’s most aromatic resin from the Aleppo pine, to produce a refined and flavorful Retsina.
Covering approximately 65,000 square meters, the vineyard spans Attica from north to west and east, with mountains providing diverse soil and climate conditions.
The bush-shaped vineyards in southern and eastern Attica shield the vines from dry, hot conditions while allowing the cool summer “meltemi” breeze to offer relief from high temperatures.
The strength of the Attica Vineyard is reflected in the unique aromatic characteristics and intense aftertaste of its wines.
Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Athiri, and Mandilaria are also grape varieties also thrive in the Attica Vineyard.
